Reports
The Data Review Committee works collaboratively to bring air quality reports to the public. The air quality monitoring stations are owned and operated by Rio Tinto near Haisla Village, Kitimat, and Lakelse Lake. Rio Tinto also manages maintenance and calibration activities through Trinity Consultants. Maintenance reports are provided at the end of the station reports. The Data Review Committee reviews the reports and provides context and comments.
Network Review
The 2023 Network Review assessed KAG’s air monitoring network, including the boundaries of the Terrace-Kitimat Valley airshed and how well the network supports KAG’s monitoring objectives.
